Today we attempted to take some fall-time pictures of baby C! He wasn't terribly thrilled, but I think they turned out pretty cute! I just thought I'd show you our little set up. No, it's not professional. But professional pictures of babies are ridiculously expensive and as much as I'd love to get them done every month, I just can't pay for that! So we improvised.
I laid our dining chair on it's side to wedge him in there since he can't yet sit up. He kept sliding on our floor, so I put a brown potholder with rubber grippers on it. It was lots of trial and error this time, but next time we'll get him to actually look at the camera!
I uploaded the picture into picasa, cropped and added a random combination of their filters and done! I just play around with the filters until I find one I like- I believe this one was a combination of soften and lomo-ish.
He was definitely OVER it by now, so we didn't get him to smile. But I still think it's cute. And love how daddy picked out a pumpkin that was bigger than our little guy!
I'm in love. :)
I already have plans for a Christmas one and I just got his new hat in the mail this weekend.
I'll let ya know how it turns out!
Have a wonderful week and pray for all of those in storm's way- we are praying for you!!

Super cute! He's an absolute doll! And I love that he's sitting on a potholder! Genius!
ReplyDeleteAhhh thank you!! It is the only thing I could find with grippers!
DeleteGood idea! It's definitely smart to try and svae money when you can. I intend to do the same, reserving expensive shoots only for big milestones like a first year cake smash, family pics, etc. There's just too many holidays! Plus, we have Pinterest as a resource. There's so much you can do!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your Christmas plans! Here's a couple I pinned:
