Welcome!

Welcome to my new blog! I'm Suzy, a 22 year old nursing student from Minnesota! After months of "blog stalking" I decided it was finally time for me to hop on the bandwagon and put my 2 cents into blogworld. I graduate in 3 weeks... so why wouldn't I want to spend that time blogging instead of studying for finals? :) I am recently engaged and my fiance and I built our own house this year (thank you government tax credit!). Everyone said, "You'll never want to do it again after all the stress of designing and building your own! It's so much more work than it seems!" DISAGREE. Loved it! I have always loved to decorate, but with all the expenses of a new house I've learned to be a bit more creative with my decorating.. and it's SO FUN! I have loved turning our house into a home, but I still have a ways to go!

 Some other passions of mine are cooking, baking, crafts, organizing and repurposing things that most would pass by! This blog will have a little bit of all of those things- everything you could imagine to make your house a home (and an organized one at that!) I am also going to hop on the wedding planning train immediately post-graduation, so stay tuned for some wedding creativity! I have already found about 435,083 favors that I am DYING to have for the big day! (Is it weird that I'm most excited about the presents WE get to give away at our wedding?) I hope that you stop by again, mostly because I love all of YOUR advice and creativity!!
